TabTec® CR is a consumer-friendly, child-safety desiccant container closure system. The new standard for safe and reliable drug product dosing in a convenient and easy-to-carry package.

CR certification

TabTec® CR is certified in accordance with PPPA 16 CFR Part 1700 and ISO 8317 (2015), the most stringent international child safety standards. The child-resistant function remains fully effective from the first tablet to the last, giving you and your customers complete confidence in every pack.

On-the-go

TabTec® CR’s slim, rounded profile is designed to fit discreetly into any pocket or handbag – ideal for patients managing chronic conditions or self-care routines on the move. The large label area ensures key product information remains clearly readable, and the flip-top design keeps the closure securely attached.

Hygienic dosing

TabTec® CR is suitable for tablets, caplets, soft gel and hardshell capsules. The integrated dosing function provides a clean, consistent dispensing experience, enabling patients to dispense one tablet at a time, hygienically and without touching the remaining contents.

Moisture protection

No additional desiccant components required. Every TabTec® CR includes integrated desiccant – silica gel, molecular sieve, activated carbon, or a custom blend – maintaining the ideal humidity conditions for your product to achieve required shelf life.

Mono-material

TabTec® CR is available as a mono-material version in PP for 100% recyclability, supporting your sustainability commitments without compromising on performance or certified child-resistance.

Manufacturing

TabTec® CR is designed to run on market standard bottle filling lines, reducing the number of packaging components and line unit operations – which means lower complexity, higher OEE, and faster time to market for your product.

Sanner’s child-resistant desiccant screw caps combine certified child safety with reliable moisture protection for solid oral dose pharmaceuticals and consumer health products. Precision-molded for a secure bottle seal, the integrated desiccant eliminates the need for separate sachets or canisters while helping maintain product stability.

Child-resistance

Sanner CR screw caps are certified according to PPPA 16 CFR Part 1700 and ISO 8317 (2015), meeting the regulatory requirements for child-resistant pharmaceutical and OTC products in major global markets. The CR function is integrated into the screw closure mechanism, with no additional components required.

Integrated desiccant

The desiccant is integrated directly into the cap, keeping it permanently separated from the medication. No loose desiccant in the packaging, no dust formation, no direct contact with the product – contributing to patient safety and a clean user experience.

Flexible and customizable

Sanner CR screw caps are available for a range of bottle sizes and formats, with or without child-resistant function. Custom sizes and configurations available on request.
