Following the successful acquisitions of Springboard and Gilero, alongside significant investments in manufacturing capacity in Germany and the United States, Sanner has evolved into a fully integrated global partner for healthcare companies spanning pharmaceutical packaging, medical devices, diagnostics, drug delivery, and consumer healthcare. The appointment of a dedicated Chief Business Development Officer reflects the company’s commitment to capturing the full commercial potential of its expanded capabilities, driving strategic market development, deepening customer partnerships, and strengthening its global market position.
Jean-Edouard Rabier emphasizes: “Joining Sanner at this pivotal stage of transformation offers a unique opportunity to shape an integrated end-to-end customer experience that benefits both our customers and the patients they serve. From desiccant to moisture management and as CDMO of simple to complex devices for diagnostics, drug delivery, and patient management – I truly believe we can impact both customer journey and success. Sanner, together with GHO, has all capabilities and skilled teams to achieve our mission to make people’s lives better.”
Commercial leadership for the next stage of growth
Jean-Edouard Rabier brings more than 20 years of international commercial leadership experience across the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, and healthcare industries to his new role. Throughout his career, he has held senior leadership positions at West and Aptar. Most recently, he led Sales & Business Development for Pharma & Biopharma Solutions Injectables at Gerresheimer.
“Jean-Edouard joins Sanner at an important milestone in our transformation,” says Stefan Verheyden, CEO of the Sanner Group. “Following the strategic expansion of our capabilities and global footprint, our focus is now on accelerating commercial growth, creating even greater value for our customers, and fully leveraging the strength of our integrated offering. Jean-Edouard’s extensive industry experience, customer-centric approach, and international network make him ideally positioned to help lead this next chapter.”
Jean-Edouard Rabier succeeds Christian Classen, Chief Sales Officer, who has decided to pursue a new professional opportunity. “Christian has made a significant contribution to Sanner’s development over the past years, playing a key role in expanding our CDMO business while strengthening our established healthcare packaging portfolio,” says Stefan Verheyden. “On behalf of the entire company, I would like to thank him for his commitment and leadership during this important phase of growth and wish him every success for the future.”
